Bev has been a source of minute communication and information from the first moment we contacted her. Our teacup poodle and siblings were not even born yet. The moment they were, Bev sent us a picture of each newborn of the litter (5). For 12 weeks without failing she shared the adorable pics of each with cute object on their side to compare size and growth. Finally, when we were down to a couple of choices, we decided to meet her in person and see the space where these little treasures lived. We flew to Manitoba. Her space and surroundings were idyllic, indeed. Bev introduced us to Duchess, the litter’s mom, who was duly protective of her little ones. Very moving. The space where they all lived was clean, spacious and inviting. Outside, were the gorgeous Manitoban landscapes where deers would visit Bev for years. We stayed with Bev and her many dogs for long enough (over 2 hours) to decide between the last two finalists. It wasn’t hard, Blixa, the first born of the litter, with his charming curiosity and sociable manners would clearly choose us. We flew back to Toronto with this little wonder just over 3 months, with all his documents provided by Bev. She had always, confidently, assured us that her dogs were calm and gentle. We would say, they are pedigree! Blixa is thriving in our home and never having been “dog people”, we adjusted to this puppy’s needs with such pleasure that, now, we ask ourselves how we have done without him. Bev gifted us with her 40 year experience as a breeder and one of her adorable pups. She has helped us with specific questions, promptly, after adoption. We truly believe we were tremendously lucky coming across her tea cup poodles.
